To serve the community by helping pets in need

The mission of the Sarah Rose Fund is to serve the community by helping pets in need.  We have partnered with the Veterinary Care Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not for profit foundation to establish this charitable fund. Contributions to the Sarah Rose Fund are tax-deductible and 100% of donations to the fund are used directly through Hopewell Veterinary Hospital to care for pets in need.

Sarah Rose was a special dog.  She came to us in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina which had devastated New Orleans and the Gulf Coast in 2005.  She was pregnant and scared.  She gave birth to her puppies at Hopewell, and each of them was adopted into a loving home in our area.  Then we set out to find a home for Sarah Rose.  Despite a number of tries and lots of love and training, Sarah Rose was never able to be adopted out.  After all she had been through, her anxiety was too bad.  She felt most comfortable at Hopewell, with people who she came to love and trust.  She lived out the rest of her life with us and was well-loved each and every day.  The Sarah Rose Fund is named in her honor.

Donations can also be made by mailing a check to: Veterinary Care Foundation,16550 NW 46th St, Morriston, FL 32668.  Please write Hopewell Vet Sarah Rose Fund in the memo.
